Pack size, finish and curing

Apply textile DTF powder while the printed ink is still receptive, remove excess powder and cure it using the instructions supplied for that formulation. Transfer quality depends on even coverage and controlled heat, time and pressure. Standard, soft-feel and puff powders can behave differently; use a sample transfer to assess handle, stretch and adhesion on the actual garment. Compare price per kilogram only after checking the grade and included weight.

Pair the powder with textile DTF film, DTF inks and a suitable heat press. Hot-melt garment powder is not a substitute for adhesive A+B film in UV DTF sticker printing.

DTF hot-melt adhesive and soft powder packs

DTF hot-melt powder is the adhesive material used in a garment film-transfer workflow. Customers may call it DTF hot-melt adhesive, soft powder or smooth powder when comparing the finished feel of a transfer. Those descriptions do not establish an identical formulation: compare the actual grade, pack weight and supplied application guidance.

Compare the 1 kg soft adhesive powder pack with the 5 kg DTF hot-melt powder pack, or view the standard hot-melt powder listing. Assess the finish on the actual fabric before increasing the batch size. A soft-feel adhesive should not be assumed to produce a raised puff-print effect.

Puff DTF powder for raised-effect printing

For puff DTF print projects, compare the 1 kg puff DTF powder, 150–300 micron grade. This separate special-effect material is intended for 160–400 GSM fabrics, subject to sampling, and is available on a 20-day backorder. Standard soft hot-melt powder should not be assumed to produce the same raised finish.
