Description
A3 PET film roll 12 inch India — 100 metres of blank DTF transfer media
Our A3 PET film roll 12 inch India is for garment printers who use a compatible roll-fed textile DTF setup. The continuous format supports repeated logos, individual shirt designs and nested artwork without loading a new sheet for every print. This is blank PET carrier film: you print your design, apply adhesive powder and prepare the transfer before heat pressing it onto the garment.

What you receive for the listed price
- One 12-inch-wide PET film roll, 100 metres long.
- Unprinted textile DTF carrier media for your compatible roll-feed system.
- Ink, adhesive powder, finished artwork, printer, shaker, oven and heat press are not included.
Quantity 1 means one roll. GST and shipping are displayed separately at checkout. The images and demonstration explain the product and its use; machinery, guides and example garments are not extra supplied items.

Dimensions and printer compatibility

|---|---|
| Nominal width | 12 inches / 304.8 mm |

“A3” is the familiar format name in this listing. The actual roll is 304.8 mm wide; it is not a stack of standard 297 × 420 mm A3 sheets. Check physical media width, roll-holder clearance and the printer’s usable artwork area separately. A printer’s A3 label alone does not establish that it can feed a 12-inch roll.

Check your roll holder and feed path
Before fitting A3 PET film roll 12 inch India, confirm that your printer has a suitable continuous-feed arrangement. A compatible holder should support the roll without rubbing its edges or pulling the film sideways. Roll-core dimensions and packed-roll dimensions are not confirmed in this specification; ask our team for the current batch measurements if your holder has fixed requirements.

Square the leading edge to the feed path and check the transition into any powder shaker or take-up system. Avoid excessive tension, creases and manual tugging while printing. On a converted printer, the conversion and media transport must support rolls; placing a roll behind a sheet-fed printer is not sufficient by itself.
Plan artwork for the usable print area
Use A3 PET film roll 12 inch India with the correct media width in your RIP. Leave the side margins required by the print carriage, guides and feeding system. Group small logos or labels into a gang layout while leaving space for powder removal, cutting and handling. Do not promise a customer a full 12-inch-wide printed graphic until the actual printable area has been checked.
The supplied 100 metres is media length, not a guarantee of finished saleable output. Loading, calibration, feed margins and test transfers also consume film. For cost planning, divide the actual usable printed area among your designs and allow for setup waste rather than treating the entire nominal roll area as finished transfers.

Keep the ink-receiving surface clean
Identify the coated print face before loading and handle the edges where practical. Dust, fingerprints or moisture on the coating can affect the wet image and powder application. Inspect a small printed design containing thin text, a solid block and open spaces. If ink pools or fine detail spreads, check orientation, contamination and RIP ink loading before changing several settings together.

Working settings for standard matte film
For the standard matte film supplied under our A3 PET film roll 12 inch India listing, our store confirms these working settings. Baking cures the adhesive on the printed film; garment heat pressing is a separate stage.
| Baking / adhesive curing | 160°C for 15 seconds |
|---|---|
| Garment pressing | 160°C for 15 seconds |
| Pressure | Heavy pressure |
| Release | Hot / hybrid peel; use the timing instructions for your supplied batch |
| Second press | Recommended for good washability. Obtain its duration and cover-sheet recommendation from our team. |
Test the complete transfer on the intended fabric with your actual ink and adhesive. Verify equipment temperature and resolve any conflicting powder-curing instruction before production. With a conveyor system, 15 seconds refers to heated exposure, not a universal belt-speed value. These are standard matte instructions and should not be copied to unrelated decorative or UV DTF films.
Printing and transfer sequence
- Prepare mirrored artwork in a compatible DTF RIP with the correct page width, margins and tested white-layer settings.
- Load the coated face correctly, print a small test and inspect fine detail before running the full job.
- Apply compatible hot-melt adhesive powder to the wet design and remove loose powder from unprinted film.
- Bake the adhesive using the confirmed film-and-powder procedure for your equipment.
- Position the transfer on the garment, press with the stated time, temperature and pressure, and peel at the correct release stage.
- Complete the recommended finishing press and inspect the result before continuing production.

Check the finished transfer and solve common problems
Evaluate A3 PET film roll 12 inch India on a finished garment, not just on the wet print. Check edge adhesion, small lettering, clean spaces around the design and release consistency. Test stretching and washing on the actual fabric before making performance promises to your own customer. No universal wash-cycle count or guarantee for every fabric is stated.
| Symptom | First checks |
|---|---|
| Skewing or wrinkling | Holder alignment, edge damage and drag through the feed path. |
| Blurred detail or ink pooling | Correct coated face, clean surface and suitable ink loading. |
| Adhesive specks outside artwork | Loose-powder removal, moisture and static before baking. |
| Uneven release or lifting edges | Adhesive curing, even press pressure and correct peel stage. |
Storage and repeat-order records
Protect unused media in its packaging, away from dust, moisture, direct heat and edge damage. Label opened rolls so their size and batch remain identifiable. Keep a finished reference transfer with the ink, powder, RIP profile and pressing procedure. Compare one variable at a time if results change. Obtain batch-specific shelf life, film thickness and storage limits from the supplied information rather than inferring them from a picture.
Complete your printing setup
Use compatible INKBANK DTF ink and DTF adhesive powder. For suitable printer maintenance, see DTF cleaner; it is not a coating applied to this film.
